Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, store and protect your information — including the birth details astrology requires.
Last updated: 6 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kashi Technologies Private Limited (operating as “Kashi Labs”; “we”, “us”), operator of NavAstra at navastra.kashilabs.ai (the “Service”), handles your personal information. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1.Who we are
The Service is provided by Kashi Technologies Private Limited (operating as “Kashi Labs”), Office 520, Tower 1B, 73 East Avenue, Near Genda Circle, Vadodara, Gujarat, India. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].
2.Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Birth profile data — the name, date of birth, exact time of birth, birthplace and coordinates, and (optionally) gender you enter for yourself or for profiles you create. This is required to calculate a chart and is sensitive personal data; we handle it accordingly.
- Questions and answers — the questions you ask the AI, the generated interpretations, and any reports produced for you.
- Outcome feedback — if you voluntarily tell us that a predicted life event happened (and when), we store that alongside the prediction to measure and improve accuracy. Providing this is entirely optional.
- Payment information — processed by our payment processor (Razorpay). We receive confirmation and limited transaction metadata; we do not store your full card details.
- Technical and usage data — cookies for sign-in and language preference, and basic operational telemetry (e.g. request timing) used to run and improve the Service.
3.How we use your information
- To calculate charts, dashas, divisional charts and transits, and to generate AI interpretations and reports you request.
- To operate your account, process payments and provide customer support.
- To improve the Service. We retain the exact calculated factors behind each answer and any outcome feedback you provide so we can evaluate accuracy, fix mistakes, and refine our astrological logic and prompts over time. We do this to make predictions more reliable — not to profile you for advertising.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your birth details or questions for advertising.
4.AI processing and third parties
To generate interpretations, your question and the derived chart factors are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them to return an explanation. Payments are handled by Razorpay. The Service is hosted on Amazon Web Services (Mumbai region, India). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments. Some processing (e.g. by the AI provider) may occur outside India; where it does, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
5.How we store and protect it
Data is stored on AWS infrastructure in India. Each customer’s data is isolated at the database level using row-level security, access is restricted, and data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
6.How long we keep it
We keep your account and chart data for as long as your account is active, and for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time (see “Your rights”).
7.Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and you may withdraw consent for optional uses. To exercise any right, email [email protected] from your registered address. We will respond within the timeframe required by law.
8.Children
Accounts, purchases and subscriptions are for users aged 18 and over. A person under 18 may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the birth details and questions submitted and who provides the consent required under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 for processing a child’s personal data. We do not knowingly permit children to create accounts or transact on their own. If you believe a child has provided us personal data without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.
9.Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
10.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you.
